Our Story
Founded in 2004, Mosquito Shield was developed to address a need expressed by homeowners for an effective and affordable mosquito control solution.
It was clear that available mosquito control options such as body sprays, candles and mosquito magnets are just not effective – while misting systems and homeowner-applied chemicals can be prohibitively expensive, messy and simply too much work.
After reviewing the options, I determined that a professionally applied mosquito barrier spray was the best option. We did our research, tested control products and worked tirelessly developing a specially formulated spray and application process that actually worked. We trained licensed technicians on mosquito behavior and how to evaluate and identify the environments that best supported mosquito and tick populations. We spent a great deal of time testing exactly how much of our product was needed for ideal mosquito and tick control and how to apply it while minimizing harmful effects to the environment.
The results have been well worth the time invested, as Mosquito Shield now offers an effective barrier application that will eliminate mosquitoes on your property for weeks.
